Keep your strumming hand moving
For a left-handed setup, your left hand strums. A downstroke moves towards the floor, from thicker to thinner strings; an upstroke moves upwards, from thinner to thicker strings. Count 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & and keep the motion going through each silent stroke.
D ↓ means down, U ↑ means up, X × means a muted percussive downstroke and – means pass over the strings without sounding them. Swing delays the “&” between beats. Audio is a synthesised guide.
